His ways are not our ways

What will you do when God asks you to give up something that you really love? You can't reason and say. "Well, God will never ask that of me or even take from me. He loves me and wants to see me happy." Yes, you are right. He loves you more than you can ever imagine and yes, to see you smile lights up His day. But Jesus said in this life, you will have trails and tribulations.

I have learned that sometimes, God calls us to give up what we love the most. I remember on the 7th of the 7th, 7 years ago this year, God asked that of me. He showed me what was going to happen and He wanted to prepare me for it. I tried to fight Him. I wrestled day and night with Him. Praying and asking for a different outcome.

Maybe God is asking that of you today. Maybe He is reaching into your heart where it hurts the most. Maybe He is asking you to make that sacrifice to Him. Maybe He is asking you to end that toxic relationship. Maybe angels are standing by to take your loved one home. Give to God what is God's. Give Him your heart and give Him what He is asking of you. He is your Father and He will hold you together.
